Job Title: Experienced Medical Radiation Technologist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced medical radiation technologist to join our team at the University Health Network. As a key member of our Joint Department of Medical Imaging, you will be responsible for performing various imaging procedures using state-of-the-art digital technology. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a team of innovative staff dedicated to patient care and superb image quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general imaging and basic CT scan procedures using digital equipment
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management personnel
  • Participate in professional development, teaching, and educational activities
  • Mentor and train junior staff members
  • Perform cross-functional/site responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:

  • Completion of a two- to three-year college or other approved program in diagnostic radiography or a bachelor of health sciences in radiography
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in general radiography
  • Certification by the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
  • Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)
