Job Title: Experienced Medical Radiation Technologist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced medical radiation technologist to join our team at the University Health Network. As a medical radiation technologist, you will be responsible for performing various imaging procedures using digital equipment, communicating with team members and management personnel, and participating in professional development, teaching, and educational activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general imaging and some basic CT scan procedures using digital equipment
  • Communicate with team members and management personnel
  • Participate in professional development, teaching, and educational activities
  • Perform cross-functional/site responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:

  • Completion of a two- to three-year college or other approved program in diagnostic radiography or a bachelor of health sciences in radiography
  • Completion of clinical component of relevant accredited medical imaging academic program, or equivalent education as assessed by CAMRT and CMRITO
  • Required minimum 5 years experience in General Radiography
  • Certification by the CAMRT
  • Current registration with the CMRITO and fulfilling the annual required continuing education as per CMRITO
  • Completion of a BCLS program, Level II: Basic Rescuer certification, with maintenance of certification
