Job Title: Experienced Medical Radiation Technologist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Medical Radiation Technologist to join our team at the University Health Network. As a Medical Radiation Technologist, you will be responsible for performing various Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and maintaining high-quality images.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI procedures, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines
  • Operate and maintain MRI equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
  • Prepare and document patient records, including imaging results and reports
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education programs

Requirements:

  • Completion of a recognized medical imaging program and certification by the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in MRI, with a strong understanding of safety protocols and imaging principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to work variable shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
