Project Manager/ Quality Assurance Specialist

About the Role:
GEMTEC Consulting Engineers & Scientists Limited is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Project Manager/ Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Unexploded Explosive Ordnance (UXO) department, you will be responsible for overseeing project coordination, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Alternate Company Security Officer (ACSO): responsible for initiating and reviewing security clearance applications, completing Security Requirements Checklist (SRCL), and maintaining company registration in the Federal Contract Securities Program.
* Company Designated Official for the Federal Controlled Goods program: facilitating security assessments, reviewing applications, and maintaining certification.
* Manage timecard and expense entries for a high volume of employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
* Review and carry out Quality Control checks on UXO field reports.
* Coordinate flight arrangements, draft and issue employee contracts, confirm and coordinate new hire paperwork, and provide administrative support to various departments.
* Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned.
* Maintain accurate records and adhere to company policies.
Requirements:
* Diploma or Certificate in Business Administration, Science, Engineering, Environmental, or related field preferred.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
* Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
