GEMTEC Consulting Engineers & Scientists Limited is seeking an Environmental Professional to support our growing team in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador, and across Canada. The successful candidate will have an undergraduate degree in a related field, with 5-10 years of experience. They will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs)/Environmental Assessments (EAs) for proposed development projects in various industry sectors under provincial and/or federal processes. Additionally, they will plan, execute, and manage field programs/surveys relevant to the assessment of avifauna, wildlife, vegetation, aquatics, wetlands, species at risk, etc. The ideal candidate will possess excellent writing and verbal communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the capability to manage and prioritize several assignments at one time. They will also have the ability to collaborate with other GEMTEC staff and offices on environmental permitting and related environmental projects of various sizes. The position is a full-time salaried position, and a valid driver's license is required. Relocation assistance may be provided.
