Retail Sales Associate

As a Home and Electronics Sales Associate at Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services - CFMWS, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service to our unique client base - members of the Canadian Armed Forces and their families. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the set-up and maintenance of the electronics, computers, appliances, and furniture departments, providing technical and professional advice on sales and products offered.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the set-up and maintenance of the electronics, computers, appliances, and furniture departments
- Provide technical and professional advice on sales and products offered
- Assist with ordering stock and ensure that shelves are stocked, faced, and properly signed
- Explain and sell extended warranty programs and accessories
- Provide a variety of other retail services, including regular retail services, dry cleaning, lottery services, self-serve gas services, and postal services
- Operate Point of Sales systems, the debit/credit machine, and maintain a float
- Take and prepare food and beverage orders and prepare takeout food, while ensuring cleanliness of food service and eating areas
- Acceptable combination of education, training, and experience
- Food Handling Certification, as required
- Experience in electronics, computers equipment, furniture, and appliances
- Experience in selling extended warranty and accessories
- Experience in cash handling
- Experience in sales and merchandising
- Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork, and leadership
English Essential / Bilingual (English and French) an asset
