Insurance Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Insurance Customer Service Representative to join our team at Aleem Ravji Insurance and Financial Services. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and support to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service to our clients, responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
- Insurance Sales: Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate insurance products and services.
- Problem-Solving: Act as a process/product expert to address customer concerns and be accountable for problem-solving and/or raising matters to the appropriate people.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively as a team, use and learn from each other's knowledge, and support your co-workers to resolve customer issues.
- Marketing and Sales: Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals, and develop strategies to increase sales and revenue.
- Sales Experience: Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred.
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and listening.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Proactive in problem-solving, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
- Customer Service Skills: Dedicated to customer service, with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences.
- Multi-Tasking: Ability to multi-task, with a focus on prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
- Presentation Skills: Ability to make presentations to potential customers.
- Insurance License: Property & Casualty license (preferred/must be able to obtain). We will help successful candidates obtain licensing.
