Job Title: Senior Business System Analyst (Insurance)Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Business System Analyst to join our team in Markham, ON. As a key member of our insurance business process team, you will be responsible for preparing business requirements documents, reverse engineering processes, and coordinating API modifications for all channels, provinces, and companies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain business requirements documents for changes and enhancements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify impacts on business processes and develop strategies for improvement
  • Work closely with IT partners and third-party vendors to coordinate API connectivity changes
  • Track KPIs and help teams deliver high-quality products/solutions on time
  • Experience with Scrum and other Agile frameworks
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and develop solutions
  • Liaise between business departments and groups
  • Assess options for process improvement, including business process modeling
  • Maintain documentation regarding various projects, processes, and operations
  • Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams
  • Execute the coordination of planned requirement activities
  • Organize end-to-end testing and coordination with other departments and third-party vendors
  • Accountable to provide delivery estimates for all tasks and plans assigned to team members
  • Ensure the delivery of work is to stakeholders' satisfaction using project management practices
Requirements
  • College or University Degree is preferred
  • Prior Business System Analyst/Business Analyst experience in the insurance industry is preferred
  • Knowledge of Change Management and Operational Model implementation
  • Excellent knowledge of Agile methodology with experience using JIRA and Confluence
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience communicating at all levels
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet required deadlines
  • Proven ability to embrace change, be highly adaptable and flexible, decisive, and display excellent judgment
