We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Qualicum Quality Care Services Ltd.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to our residents, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary health team to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Responsibilities- Assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions and develop individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on health-related topics.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure high-quality care and adherence to policies and procedures.
- Current registration with the provincial or territorial nursing regulatory authority.
- Valid CPR and First Aid certificates.
- Immunization records and a negative tuberculosis test.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
