We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Qualicum Quality Care Services Ltd.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a long-term care setting, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary health team to deliver exceptional care to our residents.
Responsibilities:- Assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions and develop individualized care plans.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care, including transfers and admissions.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure high-quality care is delivered.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Current registration with the provincial or territorial nursing regulatory body.
- Experience working in long-term care or a related setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
