We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Qualicum Quality Care Services Ltd.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to our residents, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary health team to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Responsibilities:- Assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and provide education to residents and families.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure high-quality care and adherence to policies and procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
- Current registration with the provincial or territorial nursing regulatory authority.
- Experience working in long-term care or geriatric settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on providing excellent patient care.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
