Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of integration programs, ensuring timely reporting to senior regional leadership.
  • Facilitate and conduct thorough Technology and Operations Acquisition Due Diligence.
  • Develop comprehensive integration budgets, incorporating immediate costs, transition expenses, future state spending, and IT employee plans.
  • Assess technology risks during the acquisition due diligence process, performing initial infrastructure and business management system requirements gathering and analysis.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary team resources to identify current states and develop well-informed recommendations for integrated solutions.
  • Build and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships at all levels, fostering collaboration across various areas to create a strong customer orientation.
  • Collaborate with the delivery Program Manager and integration team to identify and mitigate risks, escalate issues related to integration programs, and ensure proper transition of closing acquisitions.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of policies and procedures to standardize area operations, enabling consistent project delivery within budget and on time.
Required Qualifications:
  • 4-year degree in a technical or business field preferred.
  • Master's degree a plus.
  • Four to twelve years of experience in IT and business/industry.
  • Two to seven years of leadership responsibilities with experience in executive and customer service or delivery management.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading large-scale projects, defining requirements, and delivering results that meet customer expectations.
  • Strong customer focus, communication, and change management skills.
  • Experience managing systems implementation projects, including budgets and resources.
  • Experience with the insurance industry is required.
  • Technical development, delivery, and run experience is a plus, with familiarity and knowledge of data infrastructure, application conversion, networking infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
Essential Skills and Knowledge:
  • Effective program management, able to efficiently manage timelines, resources, and financials for technology integration projects.
  • Possess and apply insurance and/or financial industry experience and understanding to better engage with stakeholders and produce strong deliverables for internal teams.
  • Possesses an entrepreneurial spirit and continuously innovates to achieve great results.

  • Follow processes but having the creativity to see areas of improvement or potential capability creating in the enterprise to support business operations.
  • Ability to bind business to systems architecture, making sound decisions with a customer focus and financial awareness.
  • Operations management knowledge, able to understand operations and all the components needed to run a business.
  • Act as the key point of contact for the assigned integration projects to promote effective and timely communication.
  • Passionate about delivering business value to business partners and end-users.
  • Customer-centric mindset that anticipates business needs and responds positively to feedback.
  • This position reports into Chicago and can be based anywhere in the U.S. (i.e., remote/virtual). Travel is required, up to 50%.
  • The role is intended for Manager or Senior Manager level, with potential for Director level as a promotion point. Seniority depends on scope, scale, complexity, and volume of M&A Integration projects and programs the individual is capable of being assigned.

$130,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on location and qualifications.
