About the Opportunity:
We are looking for a compassionate and adaptable individual who can provide support to individuals with intellectual disabilities. The successful candidate will have experience in supporting individuals to overcome challenges and barriers, celebrate successes, and navigate good and bad days. The ideal candidate will possess a good sense of humor, positivity, and creativity, as well as empathy and warmth.

Qualifications:
- No experience required
- Experience, education, or training in the Disability Sector will be considered an asset
- Core Competencies: Advocacy, building relationships, championing change and innovation, facilitating growth and development, inclusive leadership, problem-solving and decision-making, resilience, resource management, strategic thinking, valuing EDI (equity, diversity, and inclusion)
- Experience working or volunteering in Human Services is an asset
- Valid Manitoba Class 5F License and access to vehicle, willingness to transport person supported required
- Clear Adult & Child Abuse Registry and satisfactory Criminal Record Check with vulnerable sector
Additional Information:
- Wage Scale: $17.50-$20.55 per hour
- Employment Classification: Full-time, Permanent
- Hours of Work: 70 hours bi-weekly; Monday – Friday (08:30am-03:30pm / 09:00am-04:00pm)
- Location: Steinbach, Manitoba (Edith's Place / Martha P. Rempel Centre)
