We are seeking a seasoned Senior eCommerce Category Optimization Specialist to join our dynamic team at RONA Inc. In this key role, you will be responsible for driving revenue and profit growth through data-driven insights and expertise in eCommerce category optimization.
Job DescriptionAs a Senior eCommerce Category Optimization Specialist, your primary objective will be to own and champion assigned business areas, leveraging web analytics data and eCommerce best practices to improve customer satisfaction, site conversions, and engagement metrics. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate strategy execution, analyze website behavior, and provide actionable insights to optimize the online customer journey.
You will oversee key projects, coach and mentor eCommerce specialists, and report on project success post-launch. Your responsibilities will include translating strategy into tactical applications, owning and improving taxonomy, purchase paths, and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) results for assigned business areas.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in digital/eCommerce, with retail experience considered an asset.
- At least 3 years of experience working with web analytics tools, Adobe Analytics being a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills and proven capability to generate actionable insights with a data-driven mindset.
- Strong knowledge of UX and eCommerce best practices and insights.
- Strong interpersonal, motivational, and communicational skills (speaking, writing, presenting).
- Flexibility, autonomy, and ability to perform in an ambiguous, fast-paced, changing environment.
- A comprehensive compensation package, including a base salary of $85,000-$110,000 per year, depending on experience, and potential bonuses.
