About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accommodations Manager to join our team at 2445212 Ontario Inc. as a key member of our hotel operations department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Operational Policies

Develop and implement policies and procedures for daily hotel operations, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality guest experiences.

Staff Recruitment and Management

Recruit, hire, and supervise a team of staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service delivery.

Performance Reviews and Training

Conduct regular performance reviews and provide training sessions to enhance staff skills and knowledge.

Supplier Negotiations and Procurement

Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible deals for hotel materials and supplies.

Financial Management

Prepare and manage budgets, monitoring revenues and expenses to ensure financial stability.

Marketing and Promotion

Develop and implement marketing plans to attract and retain guests, and oversee the execution of marketing activities.

Maintenance and Facilities Management

Arrange for and oversee maintenance activities to ensure the hotel's facilities are well-maintained and up-to-date.

Guest Services and Complaint Resolution

Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner, ensuring guest satisfaction.

Business Planning and Development

Develop and implement business plans to drive hotel growth and success.

Work Scheduling and Supervision

Establish work schedules and supervise a team of 16-20 staff members, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality service delivery.

Requirements
  • Education

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as hospitality or business administration.

Experience

2 years to less than 3 years of experience in hotel operations or a related field.

Language

Fluent in English.

Work Environment

Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a focus on attention to detail.

Physical Demands

Combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with occasional standing for extended periods.

Personal Suitability

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach and a team player attitude.
