Job Title: Accommodations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Accommodations Manager to join our team at Ontario Inc.

Job Summary:

The Accommodations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our hotel, motel, or resort. This includes developing and implementing policies and procedures, recruiting and hiring staff, supervising staff, conducting performance reviews, negotiating with suppliers, conducting training sessions, preparing budgets, and implementing marketing activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for daily operations
  • Recruit and hire staff
  • Supervise staff
  • Conduct performance reviews
  • Negotiate with suppliers for the provision of materials and supplies
  • Conduct training sessions
  • Prepare budgets and monitor revenues and expenses
  • Prepare marketing plans
  • Implement marketing activities
  • Arrange for and oversee maintenance activities
  • Enforce policies and procedures
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Assist clients/guests with special needs
  • Develop and implement business plans
  • Establish work schedules
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Fast-paced environment
  • Work under pressure
  • Tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking
  • Standing for extended periods
  • Overtime required
Working Conditions:

The Accommodations Manager will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to stand for extended periods. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be a team player, and have the ability to work under pressure.
