Job Description

This is a full-time position that requires a strong foundation in clinical medicine, with a focus on community health. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide patient-centered care and develop effective treatment plans.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing routine medical check-ups and exams
  • Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses
  • Ordering diagnostic tests and interpreting results
  • Prescribing medications and therapies
  • Developing and implementing treatment plans

You will also have the opportunity to participate in ongoing professional development and education to stay up-to-date with the latest medical advancements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in medicine from an accredited institution
  • Certification from the College of Family Physicians (CCFP)
  • Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Additionally, you should have:

  • 1-7 months of experience in a related field
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and walk between rooms
