Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Professional to join our team as an Applied Behaviour Analyst. This role involves providing acute care services to North Bay and its surrounding communities, serving as the district referral centre for specialist services in smaller areas.

Job Description

This role requires the ability to work collaboratively within a mental health and addictions setting, conducting behaviour analysis using a biopsychosocial framework. Knowledge of clinical theory and practice in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) is essential. Experience in implementing quality and safety improvement initiatives is highly valued.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • An undergraduate degree in Health or Social Sciences is required; a Master's degree in the same field is preferred.
  • A minimum of two years of experience working in mental health and/or addictions settings is necessary.
  • Bilingualism in English and French is mandatory, with advanced proficiency in both languages required.
Benefits and Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000-$110,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience. The successful candidate must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, with any necessary accommodations made pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code. Additional benefits include a comprehensive package, including health and dental coverage.
