Job Summary:

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and market expansion for applied HVAC solutions including chillers, heat pumps, and air handling units within their designated region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve regional sales targets.
  • Present technical information before groups of building owners, architects, engineers, and/or contractors based on a strong understanding of the Psychrometric Chart.
  • Research and monitor prospective and competing representatives within the assigned region, assigning and/or reassigning territories to qualified representatives to achieve sales goals and implement company strategy.
  • Serve as the primary point-of-contact for reps and their customers in the territory, gathering information from internal resources and providing communication with customers.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base within the region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential areas for growth.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies and campaigns.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and updates to senior management.
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote Swegon's products and solutions.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales representatives to ensure high performance and achievement of sales goals.

Salary:

$90,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, preferably within the HVAC industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of the HVAC market, products, and industry trends.
  • Experience with applied system sales, including chillers, air handling units, heat pumps, and BAS controls.
  • Proven ability to present technical information before groups of building owners, architects, engineers, and/or contractors.
  • Superior communication skills.
  • Comfortable dealing with HVAC end users at universities, colleges, and school boards.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel 30-40% of the time both locally and internationally.
