Learning and Development Coordinator

The Learning Coordinator will support the Magna Training Center team in administering training events, including in-class training and digital learning initiatives. The Learning Coordinator will support the full cycle of administering training events from scheduling to evaluation.
Key Responsibilities- Training Event Coordination: Coordinate and organize training events, ensuring seamless execution and participant engagement.
- Training Outcome Analysis: Analyze, track, and report training outcomes, including conducting needs analysis and drafting KPI reports.
- Communication and Documentation: Create and send out communication documents regarding upcoming training events, ensuring timely and accurate information.
- Trainer Support: Provide ongoing guidance and support to assigned trainers, both internal and external, to ensure effective training delivery.
- Logistical Support: Provide logistical support for all events, including booking rooms, equipment, materials, catering, and certificates.
- Administrative Tasks: Carry out administrative tasks pertaining to pre-training, day of training, and post-training, including reconciling expenses, entering data, and invoicing.
- LMS Administration: Administer the Learning Management System (LMS), including creating learning courses, programs, and curricula, consulting with Global MTCs to implement best learning practices, managing testing of new courses and programs, tracking usage of eLearning through the LMS, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to courses, programs, and curricula, running reports, and performing analytics.
- Education: College diploma or equivalent.
- Adult Education or HR Background: Adult education or HR background considered an asset.
- Work Experience: Entry-level.
- Skills and Competencies: LMS Administration knowledge and understanding, preferably SuccessFactors; technology proficiency, including Microsoft Suite and SharePoint; knowledge and understanding of current learning technologies; excellent oral and written communication skills; self-starter with proven ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision; strong problem-solving and analytical skills; detail-oriented mindset; strong interpersonal skills, a team player; ability to multi-task and manage several priorities at once; experience with Articulate and virtual platforms is an asset.
