We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Transformation Leader to join our team at Loblaw Digital. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our digital ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of engineers and software development managers in designing, developing, integrating, and testing services and platforms.
- Assist the team in building, improving, and maintaining a world-class digital ecosystem.
- Take ownership of technical vision and strategy, and lead key architectural decisions.
- Mentor a growing team and hold high standards in operation excellence and production availability.
- Manage outsourced development partners across onshore and offshore teams.
- Ensure consistent and timely delivery of new digital experiences across multiple web interfaces.
- Apply the right development approach – agile or blended – based on project and business needs.
- 2+ years of experience in a Senior Software Management or Director, Software Development level role.
- Excellent understanding of agile principles and methodologies.
- Good understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies.
- A true leader who enables and inspires their team to do their best work.
- Hands-on technologist who can dive deep and hold their own with senior developers.
