**About the Job

We are looking for a dedicated Building Safety Specialist to join our team at Blood Tribe Human Resources. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting inspections of construction sites and new and existing homes to identify potential safety hazards and recommend necessary repairs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect construction sites and new and existing homes to identify potential safety hazards
  • Conduct thorough inspections of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
  • Recommend necessary repairs and provide detailed reports to clients
  • Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders

Requirements

  • Degree in a relevant field (e.g., civil engineering, architectural technology)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in construction, maintenance, or a related field
  • Journeyperson certification as a carpenter, electrician, or plumber
  • Certification in a safety code inspection program (optional)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
