With your knowledge of OH&S regulations and policies, you will facilitate regular safety meetings and training sessions, promoting a collaborative approach to identifying and mitigating hazards.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective safety strategies, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, identifying potential hazards and recommending control measures.
- Provide coaching and training to site leadership and workers on safety procedures and protocols.
- Investigate incidents and near misses, developing recommendations for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, investigations, and training sessions.
- Promote a culture of safety awareness among team members, encouraging open communication and participation in safety initiatives.
About You
We are seeking a seasoned professional with a strong background in construction safety. Your ideal candidate will possess:
- A diploma or equivalent in Occupational Health and Safety, preferably with CRSP certification.
- At least three years of experience in construction safety, with a focus on OH&S policy development and implementation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
