Job Summary:

The Team Lead, Mechanical Equipment Engineering will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and technicians in the design, development, and testing of mechanical equipment and systems for the nuclear industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical leadership and direction to the team, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement plans and schedules for projects, including resource allocation and task assignment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, procurement, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure that projects are delivered successfully.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to team members, including training and development opportunities.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders, including regular communication and reporting.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Current Professional Engineer (PEO) license.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in design engineering, with a minimum of 8 years in a technical leadership role.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and outstanding analytical abilities.
