Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

CapitalCare is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical supervision to Health Care Aides and perform routine activities of daily living (ADLs)
  • Utilize nursing processes, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to provide exceptional patient care
  • Lead and sustain change in our healthcare environment
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to meet the needs of our residents and families
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of a Practical Nurse program leading to a license by the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA)
  • Active registration with the CLPNA
  • Minimum of 2 years' nursing experience
  • Computer experience to access and update electronic information systems
Personal Competencies:
  • Awareness of accident and injury prevention
  • Adherence to safe work practices and procedures
  • Maintenance of self-wellness
Salary Range:

$27.85 - $36.13 per hour as per the AUPE AN Collective Agreement
