Audit Leadership Role:

We are seeking an experienced Audit Director to lead our audit services team, providing strategic guidance and oversight to ensure seamless execution of audit engagements. The successful candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of Canadian Auditing Standards (CAS) and regulatory frameworks, as well as excellent analytical skills and a keen attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead audit teams in conducting risk assessments, developing audit strategies, and maintaining quality control.
  • Ensure compliance with CAS and regulatory requirements, promoting a culture of precision and diligence within the team.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their unique needs and tailor audit solutions, fostering strong relationships and client satisfaction.
  • Review and analyze audit findings, financial statements, and internal controls for accuracy and completeness, providing expert insights on best practices, compliance, and financial reporting matters.
  • Mentor and guide audit professionals, fostering their growth and development, and staying informed about industry trends and emerging audit methodologies.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, addressing their audit-related inquiries and concerns, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive financial solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • CPA designation with significant experience in audit and assurance services.
  • Proven track record of managing and leading audit engagements in a senior role, with expertise in CAS and regulatory frameworks.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy, and strong client relationship management skills.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with clients, teams, and stakeholders, and leadership acumen with the ability to mentor and develop audit professionals.
