Job Summary

We are seeking a temporary full-time pharmacist to provide clinical coverage to an inpatient medicine unit. This position will also involve attending multi-disciplinary rounds, overseeing therapeutic drug monitoring, and mentoring students.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical coverage to an inpatient medicine unit, including attending multi-disciplinary rounds.
  • Oversee therapeutic drug monitoring and provide drug information as needed.
  • Mentor students and contribute to their professional growth.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm D degree is required.
  • Licensed Part A Pharmacist in the Province of Ontario is mandatory.
  • Experience in an inpatient hospital pharmacy environment is preferred but not necessary.
  • Excellent communication and time-management skills are essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, work independently, and as a team member in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivation and a commitment to staying current with medication and therapeutic knowledge are necessary.
  • Good computer and keyboarding skills are required for reports and special assignments.

Salary Information

The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, based on the title, job description, and location.
