Responsibilities:
  • Test and Repair Electrical Equipment: The successful candidate will be responsible for testing and repairing electrical equipment, including switchgear, transformers, and motors.
  • Maintain Inventory: They will also be responsible for maintaining an inventory of stored materials.
  • Troubleshoot and Maintain Control Systems: The candidate will troubleshoot and maintain industrial control systems, including electrical and electronic devices.
Requirements:
  • Education: The ideal candidate should have a certificate or diploma in electrical trades or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial electrician maintenance is required.
  • Work Site Environment: The candidate must be comfortable working at heights, in cold/refrigerated environments, and in confined spaces.
  • Work Setting: The position requires the ability to work in an urban area.
  • Physical Capabilities: The candidate should have manual dexterity, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to distinguish between colors.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, are essential for this role.
