Cardiac Sonographer Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. The successful candidate will be responsible for obtaining high-quality cardiac ultrasound images and related structures for cardiologists to interpret.
Key Responsibilities- Obtain high-quality cardiac ultrasound images and related structures for cardiologists to interpret.
- Assist in the education of new staff, students, patients, and visitors.
- Participate in research endeavors within the department.
- One year of recent experience as a diagnostic cardiac sonographer is preferred.
- Previous experience using healthcare information systems is preferred.
- Experience with analysis software for cardiovascular imaging is preferred.
- Completion of a CMA-accredited Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography program is required.
- Certification with Sonography Canada as a Cardiac Sonographer (CRCS) and/or the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) is required.
The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and may be exposed to infectious diseases, blood, and body fluids.
