Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. The successful candidate will be responsible for obtaining high-quality cardiac ultrasound images and related structures for cardiologists to interpret.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain high-quality cardiac ultrasound images and related structures for cardiologists to interpret.
  • Assist in the education of new staff, students, patients, and visitors.
  • Participate in research endeavors within the department.
Requirements
  • One year of recent experience as a diagnostic cardiac sonographer is preferred.
  • Previous experience using healthcare information systems is preferred.
  • Experience with analysis software for cardiovascular imaging is preferred.
Education and Certification
  • Completion of a CMA-accredited Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography program is required.
  • Certification with Sonography Canada as a Cardiac Sonographer (CRCS) and/or the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) is required.
Working Conditions
