Human Resources Officer

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Human Resources Officer to join our team at BUILD RITE HOMES LTD. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for identifying staffing requirements, preparing job notices, and advising job applicants on employment requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify current and prospective staffing requirements to ensure a smooth workflow
- Prepare and post job notices and advertisements to attract top talent
- Advise job applicants on employment requirements, terms, and conditions of employment
- Review candidate inventories to ensure the best fit for our team
- Contact potential applicants to arrange interviews and assess their qualifications
- Notify applicants of the results of the selection process and prepare job offers
- Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures to ensure compliance
- Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures to maintain a positive work environment
- Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training to enhance skills and knowledge
Work Environment: This is a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail.
Personal Suitability: We are looking for a candidate who is accurate, has excellent oral and written communication skills, is flexible, organized, reliable, and a team player.
Work Details: This is a permanent position with a work term of 30-35 hours per week. The work language is English.
