Human Resources Professional



The Human Resources Professional at Consolidated Gypsum Supply is responsible for the successful coordination and delivery of all day-to-day Human Resources and employee programs. They will provide advice, consulting, and interpretation across all areas of Human Resources.



Key Responsibilities




  • Administer performance management processes, employee training, and complete various management reports.
  • Provide hands-on support in other HR areas, as required, including recruitment and exit interviews.
  • Collaborate with Service Canada on the LMIA application process and work with an outside agency for full cycle recruitment support.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies, programs, and practices, including a process to ensure policies are circulated, communicated, and outdated policies/practices are revised.
  • Maintain knowledge of all employment-related legislation and regulations for the province of Alberta and Saskatchewan.
  • Provide guidance on compensation programs and maintain contact and service relationships with third-party providers.


Requirements




  • 5+ years of Human Resources experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related discipline.
  • Recent experience working with Service Canada, the LMIA process, and recruitment of foreign workers.
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently within a team.
