About the Role

Nexuswave Inc is seeking a highly skilled Information Technology Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support to our users, ensuring they have a seamless experience with our computer systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Respond to user inquiries and resolve technical issues related to computer systems, software, and network connectivity.
  • Problem-Solving: Research and implement solutions to complex technical problems, utilizing technical manuals, user guides, and other resources.
  • Log Management: Maintain a comprehensive problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts.
  • System Support: Provide support for business systems, networks, and Internet services, ensuring users have access to the resources they need.
  • Backup and Recovery: Perform regular Web-server backup and recovery operations to ensure business continuity.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: Experience in a technical support role is an asset.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a focus on attention to detail.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a sitting position for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication skills, organized, and a team player.
Working Conditions
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
