Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Human Resources Officer to join our team at Dayton Parts. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the HR department and ensuring that it meets the company's goals.

Salary

The estimated salary for this position is between $70,000 and $100,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have a strong background in human resources management and will be responsible for:

  1. Assigning projects to subordinates and staff relating to employment, compensation, labour relations and employee relations;
  2. Coordinating the activities of the HR department to ensure they meet the organization's goals;
  3. Evaluating daily operations;
  4. Planning and controlling budget and expenditures;
  5. Planning, developing, implementing and evaluating human resources policies and programs;
  6. Reviewing HR projects to assure compliance with laws and regulations;
  7. Training staff;
  8. Advising managers and employees on the interpretation of human resources policies, benefit programs and collective agreements;
  9. Establishing and implementing policies and procedures;
  10. Coordinating employee performance and appraisal programs;
  11. Overseeing the analysis of employee data and information;
  12. Hiring, training and supervising staff;
  13. Overseeing payroll administration;
  14. Providing customer service;
  15. Conducting performance reviews;
  16. Supervising staff in various areas of responsibility.
