Job Title: Landscaping Supervisor

Okanagan Yard Works is seeking a skilled Landscaping Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our outdoor workforce, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our clients' properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hire, supervise, and schedule staff to ensure efficient and effective completion of tasks.
  • Plan and direct grounds maintenance, including lawn care, pruning, and planting.
  • Estimate labor and materials costs for projects and ensure budget adherence.
  • Organize and direct construction of decks, walls, and other outdoor features.
  • Maintain accurate work records and logs to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Source and procure necessary materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to staff to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Supervise nursery and greenhouse workers to ensure optimal plant care and growth.
  • Develop and implement work schedules and procedures to meet client needs.
Work Environment:

This is a physically demanding role that requires working in a fast-paced outdoor environment with tight deadlines. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.

Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in landscaping or a related field.
  • Permanent, full-time position with 40 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
