Job Summary

Okanagan Yard Works is seeking a skilled Landscaping Supervisor to lead our outdoor team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our clients' properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and schedule staff to ensure efficient completion of tasks
  • Plan and direct grounds maintenance, including lawn care, pruning, and planting
  • Estimate labour and materials for projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion
  • Organize and direct construction of decks, walls, and other outdoor features
  • Maintain accurate records and logs of work completed
  • Source and procure materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members to improve productivity and quality
  • Establish and enforce work schedules and procedures to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks in a physically demanding outdoor environment
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules
