Co-op Test Engineer

As a Test Engineer Co-op, you'll play a key role in supporting our test development engineers in the development and execution of manual and automated tests to verify the functionality of variable frequency drives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scripts for automating test procedures
  • Document test procedures and maintain accurate records
  • Execute test procedures to verify product functionality
  • Creation of test reports and documentation
  • Assist with lab audit and improvement activities
  • Maintain documentation, including schematics, test documents, and configuration documents
  • Assist with build and commissioning of test hardware platforms

Requirements:

  • Pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum 2.75 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale
  • Available to work a minimum of 9 months consecutively starting in September 2024
  • Legal authorization to work in Canada is required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Available to work 12 months (September 2025)
  • Pursuing a bachelor's of science or advanced degree in electrical engineering or similar
  • Previous internship or co-op experience
  • Previous experience in a testing lab environment
  • Panel wiring experience
  • Exposure to AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of PLC programming and Control Systems
  • Experience with Microsoft VISIO and Access
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
  • Experience with C,.NET, VB, or equivalent

Compensation:

Base Salary Compensation is from $18 - 36/hourly (CAN). Our benefits can be found at [insert link]. Actual pay will be based on factors such as skills, knowledge, education, and experience.
