Test Engineering Co-op Opportunity

Rockwell Automation is a global leader in industrial automation and information. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Test Engineering Co-op to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Test Engineering Co-op will work under the direction of test development engineers to support the development and execution of manual and automated tests for variable frequency drives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scripts for automating test procedures
  • Document test procedures and maintain documentation
  • Execute test procedures for verification of product functionality
  • Creation of test reports and assist with lab audit/improvement activities
  • Maintain documentation and assist with build and commissioning of test hardware platforms

Requirements:

  • Pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum 2.75 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale
  • Available to work a minimum of 9 months consecutively
  • Legal authorization to work in Canada is required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Available to work 12 months
  • Pursuing a bachelor's of science or advanced degree in electrical engineering or similar
  • Previous internship or co-op experience
  • Previous experience in a testing lab environment
  • Panel wiring experience
  • Exposure to AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of PLC programming and Control Systems
  • Experience with Microsoft VISIO and Access
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
  • Experience with C,.NET, VB, or equivalent

Compensation:

The Base Salary Compensation is from $18 - 36/hourly (CAN). Our benefits can be found on our website.
