Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized support to students with special needs, as directed by the Principal, to enhance their academic and personal growth.
- Work effectively with students, teachers, and other school staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Communicate with parents and guardians to ensure seamless support for students.
- Participate in school-based planning teams to develop and implement individualized education plans.
- Assist with classroom management and behavior support, as needed.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the Principal or designee.
- College diploma or equivalent in a related field, such as Special Education or Human Services.
- Experience working with students with special needs, preferably in a school-based setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work on a casual/on-call basis, with varying schedules and locations.
