Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Stars for Life Childcare Education Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Early Childhood Educator will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children in our childcare centre. This includes assisting in the development and implementation of programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist co-workers in housekeeping and cooking duties
  • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
  • Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records
  • Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and preparing crafts
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors
  • Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors
  • Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
