As a Personal Finance Advisor at Desjardins, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining lasting and trusting business relationships with members and clients. Your primary responsibility will be to listen to their needs and provide them with advice that fits their financial situation, helping them choose appropriate solutions to meet their financial goals.
You will work closely with a client base consisting mainly of individual members and businesses, driving results by recommending investments, loans, and insurance products. Your expertise will be essential in balancing member/client satisfaction, business objectives, profitability, and sound and prudent risk management.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Advising members and clients on the best strategies and working with them to identify expected results
- Managing business relationships, assessing member/client satisfaction, and service quality, following up and identifying areas for improvement
- Staying up-to-date on the financial services industry, market trends, and best practices in your field
- Participating in outreach activities and representing the caisse in the community
We offer a competitive salary and annual bonus, 4 weeks of flexible vacation starting in the first year, a defined benefit pension plan, group insurance, and reimbursement of health and wellness expenses and telework equipment.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, a minimum of one year of relevant experience, and a Mutual fund representative certificate from the Autorité des marchés financiers. Knowledge of French is required, as well as knowledge of current financial, economic, political, and legislative events.
