Printing Press Assistant Operator

We are seeking a skilled Printing Press Assistant Operator to join our team at Cascades Canada ULC. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assisting in the setup and operation of our printing presses, ensuring high-quality prints and efficient production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the setup and operation of printing presses, including mounting plates and cylinders, filling ink fountains, and controlling color and viscosity.
- Monitor press runs for quality using computer control consoles and report any malfunctions to supervisors.
- Perform laboring and elemental activities, such as cleaning plates and cylinders, and assisting skilled tradespersons.
- Contribute to a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience in a related field is an asset.
- Manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination are essential for this role.
