We are seeking a highly skilled Water Treatment Plant Construction Superintendent to join our team at Parsons Corporation. As a key member of our Critical Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for the delivery of the water treatment plant construction project in Yellowknife, NT.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide leadership and expertise for the delivery of the water treatment plant construction project.
- Oversee and manage the execution of the construction project, ensuring compliance with the approved design and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure timely completion of the project, within budget and to the required quality standards.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination with stakeholders, including the client, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies.
- Develop and implement quality assurance and quality control processes to ensure the construction of the water treatment plant meets the required standards.
- Manage and control the project budget, ensuring that expenses are within approved limits.
- Prepare and submit regular project reports to the Senior Project Manager and other stakeholders.
- Degree or diploma in Engineering, Geosciences, or a related technical/business field.
- 12+ years of experience in construction supervision and management, with 5+ years of experience in heavy civil, northern mining, or remediation projects in Northern Canada.
- Knowledge of industry practices and regulations, with experience managing on-site activities of multiple subcontractors.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
