Key Responsibilities
  • Review work requests and gather information to properly order parts and assign work orders.
  • Prepare a weekly schedule and facilitate the weekly planning meeting.
  • Manage the Preventative Maintenance (PM) program, reviewing its effectiveness and assisting with developing the strategy.
  • Compile weekly compliance schedules and identify recurring maintenance issues.
  • Keep and maintain all records in an organized manner, in accordance with the Records Program.
  • Properly use SAP to assign, complete, and close out preventative maintenance orders and work orders.
  • Comply with all Quality, Food Safety, GMP, and HACCP requirements, programs, and concepts.
  • Develop short-term and long-term equipment overhauls, rebuilds, and projects to meet business needs.
  • Develop PM programs using TPM methodologies and maintain the PM program plans to ensure they stay relevant and up-to-date.
  • Work closely with parts and purchasing team members to ensure timely delivery of key parts.
  • Locate and identify equipment name, model, serial number, part, or component number.
  • Read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
  • Communicate with equipment manufacturers, vendors, or suppliers to plan work.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or a similar Engineering program.
  • 2+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and analytical skills.
  • Strong relationship builder who can effectively work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority.
  • Demonstrated organizational and planning skills.
  • Strong computer skills and advanced working knowledge of SAP system.
