Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Equipment Maintenance Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our maintenance department and supervise a team responsible for the preventive maintenance and repair of equipment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Repair Work Optimization: Oversee the daily planning and scheduling of all repair work to optimize productivity, ensuring that repairs and/or maintenance to equipment is performed in accordance with Company safety and compliance standards.
  • Salesforce Employee Supervision: Supervise, coach, train, evaluate employee performance or behavior; provide input into hiring, disciplinary action, terminations, compensation, and promotion decisions.
  • Daily Shop Huddles: Conduct daily shop huddles to ensure open communication and effective collaboration among team members.
  • Outside Repair Inspections: Perform inspections of outside repairs to ensure all work was properly completed in accordance with the Company's safety and compliance procedures, following up where appropriate.
  • Repair Planning and Scheduling: Plan and schedule repairs in Hippo CMMS planner and procure all parts for a successful plan.
  • Work Quality Analysis: Analyze the quality and effectiveness of the work performed, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Inventory Control: Assist with an inventory control system to ensure necessary equipment and part levels are maintained and purchases are within budget.
  • Administrative Tasks: Manage related administrative matters for the team, including payroll, employee records, records of all preventive and corrective maintenance performed, recording of all information into Company maintenance software.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Maintain open communication with other departments and leadership to ensure fluid and effective operations, introducing departmental goals and performance objectives established by District and Corporate leadership.
  • Maintenance Shop Cleanliness: Ensure the cleanliness of the maintenance shops through regular inspections and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Safety Meetings: Conduct periodic safety meetings to maintain favorable working relationships among all employees and promote morale, productivity, and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Educational Background: High School diploma or GED
  • Work Experience: One (1) or more years of lead technician or supervisory experience
  • Technical Skills: Microsoft Office experience

Working Conditions:

The position involves working in various weather conditions and may expose the employee to unpleasant sights and smells. The role requires utilization of personal protective equipment, including hearing protection, safety-toed boots, gloves, reflective vests, hearing and eye protection, hard hats, etc.

Estimated Salary Range:

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
