Accounting Technician Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Technician to join our team at Fed Finance Canada. As an Accounting Technician, you will be responsible for performing various accounting tasks, including entering accounts receivable and accounts payable, participating in the follow-up and accounting of expense reports and time sheets, reviewing customer invoices, performing month-end entries and bank reconciliations, and preparing various government reports (GST, QST, etc.).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enter accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • Participate in the follow-up and accounting of expense reports and time sheets
  • Review customer invoices
  • Perform month-end entries and bank reconciliations
  • Prepare various government reports (GST, QST, etc.)
  • Participate in ad hoc administrative projects assigned during the year
  • All administrative tasks related to the team
