Job Title: Nursing Director - Senior Care Leader
Job Summary:
Sunrise Senior Living - Canada is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Director to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to our nursing team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality resident care and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management: Provide strategic leadership and direction to the nursing team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality resident care and services.
- Clinical Practice: Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Sunrise Senior Living - Canada's standards.
- Quality Assurance: Lead quality assurance initiatives, ensuring the delivery of high-quality resident care and services.
- Staff Development: Develop and implement staff development programs, ensuring the nursing team has the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality resident care and services.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of resident care and services.
Requirements:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited college or school of nursing with a current provincial license as a professional Registered Nurse (RN).
- Experience: Minimum two (2) years RN experience with at least one (1) year experience in home health, assisted living, or long-term care environment preferred.
- Skills and Qualifications: Proven leadership and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality resident care and services.
