Job Title: Construction Helper

We are seeking a skilled Construction Helper to join our team at Sidhu Great Construction Group Ltd. As a Construction Helper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load, Unload, and Transport Construction Materials: Assist in the movement of materials, equipment, and supplies to and from construction sites.
  • Erect and Dismantle Concrete Forms, Scaffolding, Ramps, Catwalks, Shoring, and Barricades: Help set up and take down temporary structures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Mix, Pour, and Spread Materials: Assist in the preparation and application of materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Assist in Framing Houses, Erecting Walls, and Building Roofs: Provide support in the construction of residential buildings.
  • Level Earth to Fine Grade Specifications: Assist in ensuring the site is level and meets the required specifications.
  • Clean and Pile Salvaged Materials: Help sort and organize materials for reuse or recycling.
  • Clean Up Chemical Spills and Other Contaminants: Assist in maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
  • Remove Rubble and Other Debris at Construction Sites: Help clear the site of debris and materials.
  • Tend or Feed Machines or Equipment Used in Construction: Assist in the operation and maintenance of construction equipment.
Requirements:
  • Physical Demands: This role requires a high level of physical fitness and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work Conditions: You will be working outdoors in various weather conditions and at heights.
  • Weight Handling: You will be required to lift and move heavy loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: We are looking for a team player with excellent communication skills and a client-focused attitude.
