Hairdressing Salon Team Leader

At Trends Salon & Spa, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Hairdressing Salon Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our management staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our salon, ensuring that our high standards of customer service and quality are consistently met.

If you have experience in managing a salon or similar environment, and possess a secondary school graduation certificate, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Schedule work rotas to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Oversee maintenance and repair work to maintain a safe and hygienic environment
  • Act as the main point of contact for emergency situations, providing support and guidance to staff and customers alike
  • Coordinate activities with other departments to achieve business objectives
  • Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, minimizing downtime and disruption to services
  • Supervise cleaning tasks, focusing on specialty and difficult items to maintain high standards of cleanliness
  • Prepare and submit progress reports to management, highlighting successes and areas for improvement
  • Procure materials, equipment, and supplies as required, maintaining accurate records of expenditure
  • Resolve work-related problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to enhance productivity and product quality
  • Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of staff, providing guidance and feedback as needed
  • Train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies, ensuring they are equipped to deliver exceptional service
  • Establish work schedules and procedures, aligning them with business goals and objectives

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
