Hairdressing Salon Supervisor Job Description

At Hair Hut Barber Shop, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hairdressing Salon Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the salon, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule Work: Plan and coordinate the work schedule for the salon team, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Arrange for maintenance and repair work to be carried out on equipment and facilities, ensuring that the salon remains in good working order.
  • Client Support: Assist clients with special needs, providing a high level of customer service and ensuring that their needs are met.
  • Quality Control: Monitor quality and production levels, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
  • Supply Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies, ensuring that the salon has everything it needs to operate effectively.
  • Staff Training: Train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge they need to perform their roles effectively.
  • Leadership: Supervise office and volunteer staff, providing guidance and support as needed.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

  • Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with the ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a high level of pressure.
