Job Title: Salon Supervisor

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salon Supervisor to join our team at Trends Salon & Spa. As a Salon Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our salon, ensuring that our clients receive exceptional service and that our team members are well-trained and motivated.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule work and manage staff rotas to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work to be carried out on equipment and machinery
  • Be the point of contact for emergency situations and handle them in a professional and timely manner
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure smooth operation
  • Ensure that all computer equipment and machinery is in good working order and that staff are trained to use it effectively
  • Oversee the cleaning of specialty and difficult items and ensure that all areas of the salon are clean and tidy
  • Prepare and submit progress reports to management
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies as needed
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of workers and provide guidance and support as needed
  • Train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources

Requirements:

  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • Permanent position
  • 30 hours per week
  • English language
